My name is Mike Hassey, and I am a rugby coach with a passion for the sport that has been with me since high school. Since 2014, I have been coaching rugby and helping to guide young athletes toward success on and off the field.

My love for rugby began in high school, and I continued to play during my time at The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, I had the honor of serving as the team president in 2009, a role that helped me develop my leadership skills and deepened my appreciation for the sport.

In addition to rugby, I am also a devoted husband and father. In 2020, I married my wife Kara, and we welcomed our son Charlie in 2021. Our family is an essential part of my life, and I strive to instill the values of commitment, honor, responsibility, initiative, service, and truth in my loved ones and the athletes I coach.
